What do these offer?

Available for both men and women, these homes offer:

  • One-to-one support from a Move-On Domestic Abuse Advisor
  • Help developing independent living skills
  • Guidance on community integration, education, volunteering and employment
  • Emotional and practical support to build confidence and resilience

Residents usually stay for 1 to 2 years, preparing for fully independent, abuse-free living.

These properties have been developed in partnership with L&Q Housing, Your Housing Group and Trafford Council.

What support is included

Across all accommodation types, residents may receive:

  • Regular face-to-face support sessions
  • Help securing permanent housing
  • Advocacy with health, social care or education services
  • Emotional support and recovery-focused education
  • Support accessing benefits, budgeting, and financial independence
  • Assistance attending legal or safeguarding appointments
  • Parenting support and domestic abuse education (e.g. True Colours)

How to access support

You can be referred by a professional (e.g. GP, housing officer, social worker) or you can contact us directly to discuss whether the service is right for you.

You don’t have to go through this alone – our team is here to help you feel safe, supported and heard.
