We offer a range of group-based educational and therapeutic programmes co-designed with children and young people, and delivered by specialist facilitators. Our group sessions provide a supportive peer environment to explore key themes such as emotions, identity, relationships and safety.
Our programmes
R’Space© (Ages 5–14)
A 6-week group programme for children who have witnessed domestic abuse. Groups are organised by age, with age-appropriate content tailored to younger and older children.
Topics covered:
- Understanding feelings and emotions
- Family and relationships
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Worries, anger and how to manage them
- Safety planning
- Hopes and wishes
Groups are delivered across Trafford in community spaces or schools and children are matched to groups closest to where they live.
Speak Out, Speak Now©
A structured programme designed for young people who have been affected by abuse in the home or in their own relationships. The programme covers:
- Power and control
- Consent and boundaries
- Confidence and self-respect
- Digital safety and peer pressure
- Bystander awareness
Developed in consultation with young people, this programme helps them recognise abuse, build resilience and feel empowered to make positive choices.
Evolve
A 6-week programme aimed at exploring attitudes and beliefs around gender, masculinity, sexism, and misogyny. Designed to educate and challenge young men, this programme encourages self-reflection, respect and equality.
Supporting Young People’s Project (Prevention & Education in Schools)
TDAS offers tiered prevention education packages for schools, youth organisations and community settings to raise awareness and promote healthy relationships.
There are three levels of affiliation:
Bronze
- Access to TDAS short films
- Teacher training on recognising and responding to abuse
Silver
- All Bronze elements, plus:
- A Healthy Relationships Workshop for pupils
Gold
- All Silver elements, plus:
- Development of a school domestic abuse policy, co-produced with TDAS
This flexible model allows schools and professionals to build knowledge and confidence in recognising abuse and responding effectively to disclosures.
