Who does this support?

A Complex Needs Domestic Abuse Advisor (CNDAA) is embedded within Trafford Adult Social Care, working directly with people who are facing barriers such as:

  • Mental health issues
  • Substance misuse
  • Learning disabilities
  • Chronic health or social isolation

What is offered?

The CNDAA:

  • Provides coordinated, trauma-informed support
  • Builds trusting relationships
  • Supports survivors to access and engage with the right services
  • Develops individualised support plans in partnership with multi-agency teams

This service is especially suited for those who are not often heard, at high risk or require wraparound, persistent support to break free from abuse and begin rebuilding.

How to access support

You can be referred by a professional (e.g. GP, housing officer, social worker) or you can contact us directly to discuss whether the service is right for you.
