Written by domestic abuse specialist Deborah Flitcroft, this CPD-accredited 5-week course provides a supportive space to reconnect with your identity, develop new skills, and build confidence — all within a safe, nurturing environment.

Who the programme is for?

  • Women aged 16+ who live or work in Trafford
  • Survivors of domestic abuse who are ready to focus on personal wellbeing and self-development
  • Those who have completed a previous programme such as True Colours or received 1:1 support

This course is delivered by women, for women and is grounded in empathy, respect, and empowerment.

What the programme covers

Each week, participants will explore topics such as:

  • Communication skills – building your voice and expressing yourself clearly
  • Confidence building – reconnecting with your strengths and self-worth
  • Assertiveness – setting boundaries and making empowered choices
  • Goal setting – identifying your hopes and making them achievable
  • How to be happier – developing positive habits for emotional wellbeing

Sessions last 3 hours per week, over the course of 5 weeks, in small group settings where sharing is welcomed but never required.

“Back to Me helped me rediscover who I am. It gave me tools I can use every day — and a safe space to feel heard.”
