We help you assess your situation and put practical steps in place to increase your safety — whether that means staying where you are or preparing to leave.
Housing Advocacy & Resettlement
Advisors support you to access safe accommodation, navigate housing services, and plan for longer-term housing stability.
Financial Independence & Benefits Support
We assist with budgeting, benefits applications (such as Universal Credit), accessing grants or emergency funding, and reducing financial dependence on the perpetrator.
Recovery & Empowerment
Advisors offer a listening ear, encouragement, and space for emotional healing. We help build your confidence, explore your strengths and support your wellbeing.
Signposting & Partnership Working
Where needed, we can refer or connect you to:
- Legal services (e.g. family law, protective orders)
- Housing services
- Mental health and counselling services
- Children’s services or family support
- Health, substance misuse or other community agencies
How to access support
You can be referred by a professional (e.g. GP, housing officer, social worker) or you can contact us directly to discuss whether the service is right for you.

Community support provides one to one support if you are experiencing abuse and living in the community, as opposed to in a refuge accommodation.
Do I need to leave my home to get support?
No. You can access support while staying in your home. We will work with you to stay safe.
Is the support confidential?
Yes. Our service is confidential and we will only share information if we are concerned about your safety or someone else’s.
Can someone refer me or do I have to contact you myself?
You can contact us directly or a professional can refer you with your consent.
